An Update From Our Chair

Hello everyone.

June was a memorable month starting with the AGM of our National Federation, when both of the resolutions, which you had previously debated in your WIs, passed with flying colours. Thanks to all the delegates who voted on your behalf, and this now means that we have mandates to be able take further action on both locally and nationally.

Thanks, must be expressed to those of you who volunteered in the marquee at the Royal Cheshire Show. Without your help and entries into the various categories we wouldn’t be able to showcase the incredible talents of our membership. Also, thanks for baking cakes for the refreshment area when literally hundreds of cups of tea and coffee were served, resulting in the general public appreciating just what the WI has to offer…. a good time was had by all.
