The Art & Craft sub-committee invites members to a full day (10am – 4pm) workshop at Church Centre (Chapel of the Holy Spirit), Eastham Rake, Eastham CH62 9AW where you will be introduced to Sashiko, a traditional Japanese embroidery technique.

You will be working in groups of 6 to 8 under the tutorage of members of our sub-committee to take home a colourful Sashiko design that you have stitched on to a 12” square which you will then have the opportunity to turn into a cushion cover.  Should you not finish you will be provided with fabric to complete the cushion cover at home.
