Sports Committee

There’s more to the WI than monthly meetings. Our Sports Committee brings members together for fun and a little friendly competition.

Throughout the year, we organise a variety of activities and events across the Federation, giving members the chance to try something new, meet members from other WIs and enjoy a few hours of good company.

Our programme includes favourites such as the Annual Quiz, Darts, Bowls and Golf Day, as well as one off events such as croquet, , Scrabble, Dominoes and archery. There really is something for everyone, whether you’re competitive, enjoy keeping active, love a good puzzle or simply fancy getting out and meeting other WI members.

We’re always looking for new ideas too. If there’s an activity you think would be great fun for WI members, we’d love to hear from you.

Get involved

The committee is run by WI members who give their time to help organise these events. Could you be one of them?

You don’t need to be an expert organiser or have lots of spare time. Perhaps you have an idea for a new activity, enjoy helping at events or simply want to get to know more WI members across Cheshire. We’d love to hear from you.
