The Website and Social Media Committee is delighted to invite members to Artificial Intelligence (AI) virtual training. We are offering two sessions via zoom; the first on Thursday 22nd October 2026 and the second on Tuesday 10th October 2026. Each session (starting at 7 pm) will be about one hour with live demonstrations ideas for easy practical challenges and time for questions. Please contact your Secretary for the zoom link which will be the same for each session.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming part of everyday life but it can feel confusing or even a little worrying. This relaxed and friendly session is designed especially for people who want to understand AI without feeling overwhelmed.
We will discover how much you are using AI in your everyday life already, its history, the benefits as well as the risks, in a balanced and honest way and provide practical tips to help you stay safe and in control.
Your tutor will be Helen Jackson, Vice President, Upton Village WI who has over 9 years of experience delivering digital and system readiness training internationally as well as designing engaging easy-to-understand workshops on AI from its history to its modern-day uses.
These events are intended for members of CFWI only so please do not share the link with anyone outside of your WI or post them on open social media sites. There is no charge for these meetings. Please do remind members of these events and enter the meeting with the name you are known as and your WI.
