Willastonhey and Ness and Little Ness WI’s Walking Netball Event

Willastonhey WI along with Ness and Little Neston WI walking netball groups were invited by England Netball to give a demonstration at the Car Park, during the Netball World Cup in Liverpool. We were there on Monday 15th July. There were also some ladies from a Liverpool WI. We had a fabulous time – three trainers from England Netball were there to guide us and after several warm up and training exercises we played some five aside games.

The sun was shining and the fan park at Chervasse Park was very busy so we had an audience!! Hopefully we helped to promote the WI and the walking netball project a little bit.
