This February the NFWI will be taking part in Show the Love again. There’s still time for you and your WI to join in – here’s how you can get involved.
Show the Love encourages community-based climate change action around Valentine’s Day. Hundreds of members and many WIs took part in 2017 and we want to make 2018 even bigger.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
- Notice the changes around you – keep an eye out for early signs of spring in your neighbourhood and fill out our Noticing-Change-Activity-Sheet
- Make a green heart and wear it with pride – you can post it on social media with the hashtag #showthelove
- Start a conversation about climate change by sharing a green heart with your local MP or a neighbour
- Hold a green heart-themed meeting with a speaker to talk about the issue
- Join forces with other community groups to organise a public event in your area
