The following is an update and advice I have received from NFWI for Judges which will also be useful Information for WIs who are considering holding a Produce show.

* The Food standards Agency website states that ‘Coronavirus(COVID-19): it is very unlikely that you can catch Coronavirus from food.

* Food needs to be transported safely to the venue, covered and placed on the show bench by the exhibitor. If it needs to be moved to a plate or placed under a dome this
Should be done by the exhibitor  to avoid unnecessary contact by anyone else.

* During the time the food is on the show bench it should be kept covered except during judging.

* At the end of the show the food should be removed by the exhibitor and destroyed safely.

* All NFWI cookery and Preserves Judges will follow good food hygiene and personal  hygiene practices to maintain safety of food.
