A warm and sunny day in mid July welcomed nearly 200 CFWI members to the Wedding Marquee of Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire for the 2024 Literary Lunch. Surrounded by water on three sides, tree lined and with colourful formal gardens, attendees were delighted by the surroundings.
Pat Sharp, the Cheshire News Editor and organiser, welcomed guests, the CFWI Trustees and Milly Johnson. A two course luncheon was enjoyed followed by Milly who filled the room with laughter as our members listened to her light hearted talk.
Selina Prescott, CFWI Chair, thanked Milly and Pat for her excellent organisation.
