Huxley Cup 2019
Competitors had a wonderful time at the Huxley Cup competition this year. The winner, Sue Macleod-Nice from Westham Evening WI, East Sussex Federation! In second place was Hazel Bentley from Kent – East Kent Federation, and third place was Carol Richards, Kent – West Kent Federation.
The competition was held at the Kent County Show, hosted by Kent – East Kent Federation, and the theme was Anyone for Tennis.

Dorothy received the Huxley Cup from The NFWI chairman, Lynne Stubbings, at the Annual Meeting in Bournemouth in June 2019.

Our sincere thanks to Brenda Proudlove for representing Cheshire in the Huxley Cup at Bakewell Show. Brenda created her beautiful arrangement using materials supplied to the exhibitors at the show. Quite a task. Well done from us all. Jean Harding

To encourage entries from all abilities, the competition was an IMPOSED EXHIBIT on a table top, where the exhibit theme are provided to each entrant on the staging day with all materials, sundries and containers. No additional flowers,foliage or accessories were permitted.
