On Tuesday 3rd March twelve teams gathered at Winnington Park Recreation Club to compete in the Federation Darts Competition . After a bit of a hiccup at the beginning as our organiser was stuck on the M56 due to a road accident the evening went well. When the first round was completed we had a break for food which was well received. The semi final and final then took place. The winners were Hough and the runners up were Higher Walton. Congratulations to them both. The trophies were presented by Ann Daughtrey (Federation Treasurer). I would like to thank Ann who actually came to support her team but got roped into helping wit the raffle and timing. I would also like to thank Ann Clemett, Lyn Worrall, Ann Shakeshaft and Judith Kennedy who helped to make the evening run smoothly. Finally I would like to thank all the teams who took part in the darts competition as without you we would not have an event.
