To commemorate the centenary year of Cheshire Federation of WIs and West Kirby WI’s inaugural year, we planted a Damson Tree (kindly donated by
Carr Farm Garden Centre) in St Bridget’s field, West Kirby.
We were thrilled to be joined by the High Sheriff of Merseyside, the Head Master of St Bridget’s Primary School with two pupil representatives and some WI members.
We look forward to picking the fruits and making Jam (and gin!)
