Over Peover WI – 1935 Jubilee Recipe Book
Boil one gallon of water and pour it over 4 lbs Damsons.
Leave until the next day,
Then squeeze and stir daily for 5 days.
Strain through a jelly bag and stir in 4 lbs sugar and add a breakfast cup of boiling water.
Leave to ferment for 8 days. Strain and bottle.
This is a good wine for Christmas.
