Cheshire Federation celebrates its 100th year.
We have now planted our trees in recognition of this.
The first was planted (a hazel ) across from “The Old Dutton School” where meetings were initially held and the second ( a cherry) at Preston Brook Village Hall; meetings currently held here.
We were joined by many members on a lovely day.
Our tree at Dutton was planted by Meryl Hargreaves, our oldest Dutton resident, who is a member of the Dutton WI and the Preston Brook tree was planted by our president Pam Burr.
We celebrated with a flask of tea and a biscuit.
Thank you to those who attended and others who were thinking of us.
