We really did have an amazing day in Chester with three brilliant speakers –
That’s what we thought but what did our members think? We have been inundated with correspondence which we are always grateful for. We never know if we have hit the right note.
‘were enthralled with the speakers’
‘It was absolutely superb. The setting and the organisation were excellent and the welcome, second to none. I thought the NFWI meeting at the Albert Hall in June was going to be my favourite of all WI events, but I must admit that yesterday was up there! The three speakers were absolutely fantastic, as were the votes of thanks.’
‘We had six members who have never bothered to attend anything before but I think they are definitely more interested now.’
‘The 3 speakers were so inspirational and passionate, some of us were moved to tears. Each one of them was so different with their story but we all found them to
be interesting and entertaining. The venue was lovely, a modern theatre, right in the centre of Chester and we had perfect seats just a few rows up from the front. An added bonus to the trip was
the ‘selfie’ that we managed to capture with the 2nd speaker Paul Mealor!!’
‘It was also nice to see on stage some of our Cheshire Federation Trustees and Committee (all volunteers) and especially Selina Prescott who did a wonderful job of hosting the Event.’
‘A huge thank you to you and your team for the best ever CFWI day. Over the years there have been many interesting speakers at these events but today was wonderful.’
