Murder, Mystery and a Superb Evening
What a fantastic evening last night as 120 WI members dressed to impress for the Cheshire Federation of WIs Murder Mystery Evening – James Bond style.
The brilliant players kept everyone entertained with a wonderfully engaging murder mystery. All the players were amateur actors, making their performances even more impressive as they brought the characters to life and kept us guessing right to the end.
There was also a delicious meal to enjoy, including hot pot pie followed by strawberries meringue and cream – the perfect accompaniment to an evening of mystery and intrigue.
With everyone putting on their best outfits, the room looked wonderful and there was a real buzz as members enjoyed the chance to socialise, share a meal and put their detective skills to the test. Three teams were correct with one winning with a tie breaker.
A huge thank you to the brilliant Leisure for Pleasure team for the meticulous organisation and pulling off a superb event, all the performers and to all the members who helped make it such a memorable evening.
But the big question is… did you guess whodunnit?
