How much do you know about salt, that vital substance for life that is beneath our feet here in Cheshire? CFWI have organised a visit to Lion Salt works in Northwich on Wednesday 16th September 2026 10.30am – 2.30pm £21.00 pp for a private guided tour and a tasty buffet lunch. To promote this visit we have opened a quiz, with a prize of a condiment set for the winner. Simply download the quiz from our files here on Facebook and email your answers to Karen Glendining.
Closing date for both the competition and the trip is the 4th August.
WI committees are welcome to download the quiz if they would like to have it as part of their meetings but will need to email Karen for the answers after the closing date!
