The Hat Museum and Plaza Cafe event organised by the Art and Crafts Sub-Committee proved to be very popular with Cheshire Federation of WIs members, we had over 150 applications.
By organising an additional date, eventually 84 members were able to enjoy fascinating tours of the Hat Works museum followed by sandwiches and cream tea at the beautiful Plaza Cafe with its Art Deco interior restored by volunteers.
Some members came away with new hats, craft supplies and bargains. Lots of learning, laughter and new friendships ensued. It was a lovely opportunity to meet so many members from across the Federation.
We would definitely recommend it as a trip for your own WI or Group. Thank you to everyone for supporting Federation subcommittee planned events.
