Join the PA team at WI House, Chester CH1 1NZ on Thursday 9th July 2026 for an inspiring programme of talks and activities to help WI members tackle violence against women.  Delegates will receive a full handout pack to enable them to cascade the day.

The day begins with “Safer Streets” by Cheshire’s Crime Prevention Officer who will provide an overview and ways to get involved.  During the day there will be a self-defence class for women led by Clare Challinor, a workshop on White Ribbon activities and a craft session to prepare an entry for the NFWI ‘Not in My Name’ competition which is to design a coaster highlighting the campaign to end violence against women, for which all materials will be provided.
