Come with the Public Affairs team on Friday 12th June 2026 to visit the UNESCO World Heritage observatory at Jodrell Bank, Bomish Lane, Lower Withington, Cheshire SK11 9DL.   The Lovell telescope has stood out on the Cheshire horizon since the 1960s as a beacon to engineering, astrophysics and curiosity.

We will then see an immersive show ‘We are Stars’ in the Space Dome, followed by soup and a roll for lunch.  After lunch visitors are free to visit the rest of the site which includes the Space Pavillion hosting a science exhibition.  There are free shows and talks available throughout the day.
