Still buzzing after a brilliant day at Disability Awareness Day (DAD) in Warrington last week – the world’s largest voluntary-led disability exhibition! We had the chance to chat with Sarah Hall MP, who not only saved our demo dummy’s life during a Bystanders campaign demo (!)
but also promised to cut the ribbon on our next defibrillator installation!

It was fantastic to showcase the WI in such a vibrant, inclusive space. So many inspiring conversations, curious visitors, and positive energy – the ‘Can Do’ attitude was alive and thriving!
Huge thanks to Sue Bentley for encouraging us to take part, and to our amazing team who flew the WI flag with pride.
Lovely to see friendly WI faces dropping by too!
