Ann Pye (Vice Chair & Trustee, Jill Kitchen (Resolutions Officer) and Susan leicester (Vice Chair & Trustee) represented Cheshire Federation of WIs at this year’s Nantwich Show on Wednesday 30th July. The WI stand had information about current resolutions and visitors were invited to ‘have a go’ with the defib machine.
There was great interest from potential new members including one lady who had recently moved to Shavington. Quite remarkably, at the same time, a couple of members of Woodnuth-cum-Shavington WI arrived at the stand with the result that they now have a new member who has already made friends and joined their craft group! The beauty of the WI.
In addition, there were some fabulous craft entries to the Show and it was a delight to see our WIs coming out on top. Congratulations Heswall Honeys, Worleston and Aston and District.
