Dear Presidents/Secretaries
I am delighted to announce your next Federation Chairman is Selina Prescott and I know she will take Cheshire Federation forward successfully as she is hardworking and keen to ensure the Federation will blossom as WIs start to meet face to face. One thing is assured, she will have the full support of all members as she tackles the job in her own way. Congratulations Selina, it is a well-deserved appointment and I wish you well for the future, you know you have my full support.
Ann Beckett continues as Hon. Treasurer with the three Vice Chairmen, Georgina Denny, Ann Pye and Susan Leicester. Congratulations to the four of you on your appointments as you help take the Federation forward under the chairmanship of Selina. My best wishes also go to all the trustees who will add their support to the team.
I am sorry I could not attend the Annual Meeting at Woodford, due to Covid, and I wish to thank Selina for stepping in at short notice and for the trustees and WI Advisers for ensuring the meeting ran smoothly.
Thank you to everyone for their kind thoughts and cards as my term of office as Federation Chairman has come to an end.
We now look forward to the future as Selina takes charge and moves us
forward.
