The Cheshire Federation of WIs was formed on 17th Novmber1920. There were already 15 WIs in the Federation formed by women wanting to help women in their communities. Our earliest WIs were formed in Dunham Massey, Ludworth & Mellor, Audlem, Kinglsey and Barrow by forward thinking women. These WIs still exist today.
