If your WI has a website of your own, facebook or twitter account that you would like linking into the CFWI website please send me the link to add to your information.
If you would like me to add your programme to an information page for your WI please email me an electronic version of the programme in any format to the email address above.
This is your website so send me any news you would like to share with fellow members and the world. If you have large ‘open’ events you want publicising in the calendar please send them in.
You will notice that if you click on the pin for your WI location the ‘more information’ page takes you to your group. Have a look around at what other groups are doing to promote themselves. Cloud group are using the page to give you the dates of the group meetings and speakers will be added when confirmed. The Mercia Link have information pages for most of their WIs. My own WI, Haslington, has a super photo of all our members taken at the WI Christmas party. If you want a picture of your members to promote what you are busy doing please send me a digital photo to add to your page. At the moment I have added a photo of your meeting venue to most of your pins (if I could find one) so that potential new members know where you hold your meetings. If you would rather have a different photograph please send it to me as a digital file.
You can see that Haslington also has a twitter feed and facebook page. Through these we are in touch with WIs not only all over England and Wales, we also keep in touch with WIs in Canada and the Rural Women’s Association in Australia. We exchange recipes, patterns and news across the world.
The events calendar has dates of meetings coming up this year. We will add more events as they are arranged
The contacts page has a very useful storage area for all the forms which have been sent to you in mailings. You can download another copy if you need one.
The internet can be a very useful tool for promoting ourselves and encouraging new members to join our WIs or to form new WIs in Cheshire.
I look forward to hearing from you
